Inside a looping maze, a girl chases the cyborgs that escaped her own mind. A fragment of obsessive thought she can’t outrun...
Set within a girl’s mental maze, Eternal Chase of a Clone (2024) follows the pursuit of obsessive thoughts manifested as cyborg doubles. The faceless cyborg, known as #1.11 runs endlessly, mirroring how disordered cognition detaches from control. Where does logic end and repetition begin? When an obsessive pattern of thinking starts, the recycled thoughts feels like a maze with no way out.
As the fourth instalment of Rawborg Series (2020-Current), #1.11 is seen running away in a looping mental maze. The film continues Wang’s ongoing Rawborg universe, where the concepts of a LEAP away from a person’s mind is being introduced for the first time.
