A 16mm film depicts the childish act of cutting open a white stuffed rabbit toy. The colourful and dreamy visual in-camera effects contrast sharply with the grotesque action and its accompanying subtitles. It serves as a filter for brutality, oscillating between innocence and evil.

The Mandarin subtitles are drawn from the artist's ongoing prose collection "Your Cat on My Lamp." With "On My Body, 2018," the work attempts to capture a surreal documentary of the internal psyche. The subtitles can be read both as poems and non-poems, reflecting the chaotic stream of consciousness one might experience: a dichotomy of polar qualities that ambiguously displays specific forms of pain and struggle.
