ESCAPE NORMALITY

Escape Normality (2021) is the second instalment in the Rawborg Series(2020-current) and the earliest documentation of The Leap, a key event in the ongoing narrative where Rawborg 1.11 escapes from the INTERNAL SYSTEM into the human world. Shot partially during COVID lockdown, the work oscillates between intimate footage and surreal presence, blurring the boundary between host and cyborg, speculation and reality.

Unlike later works which fully embed the cyborg mythos, Escape Normality occupies a liminal space: the lore is unformed, the characters are emerging, and the world-building is still a whisper. The Rawborg appears not as a figure of theory but of presence—glimpsed, chased, possibly imagined.
